Aboard our business class private jet, we go beyond ordinary travel, with our transportation becoming an experience in itself, rather than a mere means to our destination. Some of the world’s most luxurious lodges await us in New Zealand, outshone only by the sublime nature of their settings.
Savour time spent at some of the world’s most luxurious and exclusive lodges – made all the more exceptional by warm New Zealand hospitality. With three nights at each lodge, they serve as bases from which to delve further into each region.
Perfectly manicured golf courses, award-winning restaurants which source their ingredients fresh from the region, and elegantly designed rooms, whose interiors compliment mesmerising natural surrounds. The high calibre of such amenities is why we’ve chosen to stay at these lodges.
The Fruits of the Bay of Islands
The subtropical charms of the Bay of Islands are best enjoyed on a cruise. While here, you may also choose to play a round of golf at Kauri Cliff’s award-winning course, gain insight into Maori culture, or join a scenic nature walk.
Private Cruise Along Lake Taupo
Crystalline waters, hidden bays and Tongariro National Park's snowy peaks mesmerise us. A private cruise across Lake Taupo reveals the region’s beauty. The trip reaches a high point as we sail up close to the astounding Maori Rock Carvings.
Historical Wonders of Norfolk Island
The World Heritage-listed area of Kingston was founded in 1788 as a penal convict settlement, though archaeological remains from a pre-European Polynesian settlement have also been discovered. While here, we take time to explore what is one of Australia’s oldest towns.
Exclusive Golf Experiences
With our own private jet, personal golf clubs are welcome on board. Golf clubs will also be readily available at the three iconic courses offered as Your World Experiences.
Kauri Cliffs Golf Course
Not content with being one of New Zealand’s finest lodges, Kauri Cliffs also boasts one of the country’s premier golf courses. With 15 of its holes providing spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, Kauri Cliffs is currently ranked #37 in the world by Golf Digest.
Kinloch Golf Club
Designed by Jack Nicklaus, this world-class championship course tips its hat to the classic links of the British Isles. Extensive views of Lake Taupo offer a tranquil backdrop as you negotiate Kinloch’s subtle slopes and fairway traps.
Jacks Point Golf Club
Set against Queenstown’s Remarkables mountain range and Lake Wakatipu, Jack’s Point is in true harmony with its environment. Meticulously shaped by John Darby, this distinctive course progresses in a gradual 360-degree route as it tracks the dramatic landscape.
Residences of the Highest Standard
The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs

Celebratory drinks and canapes are served before we are invited to a gourmet Welcome Dinner in one of our lodge’s elegant dining areas. Local produce caught and cooked fresh today by a team of expert resident chefs is the perfect start to our adventure.

Bay of Islands, Taupo
After breakfast, we drive to Kerikeri airport and board our private jet for the journey to Taupo. Upon arrival, we join a private cruise along famous Lake Taupo, where we view Maori rock carvings. Our residence is Huka Lodge, a plush retreat rivalling the best in the world. The lodge welcomes us for a three-night celebration of the gorgeous Waikato River and its surroundings. Relax and marvel at the lush country, then prepare for a sumptuous five-course dinner prepared by Chef Paul Froggatt, whose resume boasts stints at multiple Michelin-starred restaurants around the world.

Begin with a visit to Te Puia, home to the New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute. Continue to the powerful Pohutu geyser, and stop in at Whakarewarewa, the Living Maori Village. We return to our lodge in the late afternoon. This evening, a momentous five-course dinner is served.
A selection of Your World experiences on offer this morning are the ideal way to make the most of Taupo’s abundant natural beauty. Try your hand at fly fishing at Tongariro River. Visit Opepe Scenic and Historic Reserve, where you will see the stunning native forest and call in at the graves of cavalry officers who perished in a fight with Māori warrior Te Kooti. Or, play a round of golf at either Kinloch or Wairakei golf course. The day culminates with a five-course dinner at our lodge.
After breakfast at Huka Lodge, we trade the rustic countryside for gleaming Queenstown, rejoining our jet for the South Island. On arrival, the Skyline Gondola takes us over the city. Up here, the 220-degree panorama takes in Lake Wakatipu, Coronet Peak and The Remarkables range. We seperate to our respective residences, Matakauri Lodge or Eichardt’s Private Hotel.
Our journey continues with a drive through dramatic Kawarau Gorge to Gibbston Valley Winery, home of New Zealand's largest underground wine cave. Taste distinctive varietals while learning about the winemaking process. Just down the road, Gibbston Valley Cheese crafts artisanal sheep, cow and goat cheeses in the European style. We stop for lunch in charming Arrowtown, a village rich with pioneering and gold rush history. A free afternoon then presents the chance to experience Queenstown at your own pace, whether through exploration and adventure or rest and relaxation.
Today, we embark on an active exploration of Queenstown's wonders. Choose how to spend your day on the following Your World experiences: Get your adrenaline flowing on the half-day Shotover Jet boat experience, where your boat will whip along the Shotover River between towering gorge walls at up to 85 kilometres per hour. Or, step out onto the greens for a round of golf at Jacks Point course. Alternatively, spend the day popping in and out of the many boutique stores tucked away in Queenstown’s charming streets, which hold everything from the latest work of local designers to pre-loved pieces.
Norfolk Island (Australia), Sydney
Heading north, we farewell New Zealand this morning and make for the dramatic and forbidding cliffs which make up most of Norfolk Island’s coastline. We visit Kingston, the centre of the British Empire's most brutal penal settlement. Between 1788 and 1855, criminals who had committed fresh crimes in Australia were sent here. Kingston also holds evidence of Polynesian settlement predating Captain Cook's visit by several hundred years. We enjoy afternoon tea before boarding our private jet for the journey home.
