While the True North is indeed an impressive luxury yacht in its own right, this is a cruise focused on the experience. Think of the vessel as an adventure-platform – a stylish vehicle to carry you to the heart of the remote Kimberley wilderness.
There are just 18 comfortable suites on board True North, ranging in size from 12 to 18 square metres. Each features either twin port hole windows or large panoramic windows, private ensuites, in-suite entertainment and satellite telephone.
Organic Australian Cuisine
The calibre of every meal is outstanding, offering up delicious meals featuring organic Australian ingredients, many sourced from the surrounding land and water. Expect dishes like delicate kangaroo fillets, golden barramundi wings and pan-fried scallops. The chefs will make fresh bread, yoghurt and ice creams each day.
Get Close to the Action
Six high-end adventure boats accompany us on board for forays ashore. They make it easy for us to quickly shift between remote picnics, coastal walks and adventures along remote estuaries. To add yet another dimension to the journey, there’s a helicopter on the roof. We realise heli-trips may not interest all guests, and therefore, use of the helicopter is at an additional expense.
Life on board is casual and comfortable (there’s a no shoe policy) but not short of creature comforts. There’s a sun deck, a forward observation lounge, a ship’s lounge and a breezy al fresco bar. The lower deck dining room features large panoramic windows, ensuring you won’t miss any of the scenery.
