In 1947, the route from Sydney to London took four days and seven stops to complete, with just 29 passengers aboard a Lockheed Constellation aircraft. In true Captain’s Choice style, however, we have reimagined the journey with exceptional sightseeing, exclusive experiences, and stays in refined residences.
SINGAPORE ON SHOW
During our time in Singapore, take the opportunity to visit the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple & Museum or admire the art on show at National Gallery Singapore. Our journey’s aviation theme is well represented with exclusive trade-day access to the Singapore Airshow. A gala dinner at Gardens by the Bay sends us off in style.
CURATING YOUR COLOMBO EXPERIENCE
Your encounters in Colombo are similarly tailored to your interests. Visit the fortified city of Galle and see the stilt fishermen. Be welcomed into a local home and join a cooking demonstration. Meet a former Sri Lankan cricketer. Enjoy a tasting at the Dilmah T-lounge. And dine at the prime minister’s residence.
THE TREASURES OF EGYPT
We are welcomed to Egypt with an exclusive dinner overlooking the Pyramids of Giza. While in Cairo, we are also granted special access to the feet of the Sphinx. And join an Egyptologist for a tour of the recently opened Grand Egyptian Museum, whose vast collection features some of Egypt’s most iconic artefacts.
ROME'S TASTES & TRADITIONS
Soak up the indisputable grandeur and sophistication of Rome, beginning with an exclusive after-hours tour of the Vatican Museum. See the city in style, while being driven in a vintage car. Join a cooking class to learn the secrets of authentic Italian pasta. Take in the genius of da Vinci or Galileo during a day trip to Florence.

To make for a more immersive experience, our group of no more than 160 guests will split into smaller groups during our explorations of each city. All touring days will also offer an array of Your World experiences, enabling you to determine the nature of your discovery.

ITC ROYAL BENGAL, KOLKATA
The majestic Art Deco facade of the ITC Royal Bengal belies its modernity. Built in 2019, the towering edifice invites us to discover its spacious interiors. Our elegant Towers Exclusive rooms cultivate a soothing, comfortable environment. We also enjoy a lavish Bengali affair alongside the property’s palm-lined pool.

A favourite haunt of writers, artists and politicians, Hotel de Russie now invites us to join their number. A seamless blend of elegance and modernity can be felt throughout the hotel, whose expansive courtyard is enveloped by the property’s lush Secret Garden.
HOTEL DE LA VILLE, ROME
At the top of the Spanish Steps, we find the Hotel de la Ville. Its interiors immediately secure our attention with their colourful, eclectic interiors. The hotel’s rooms and suites are beneficiaries of thoughtful interior design, where we enjoy contemporary comforts, elevated by art and antiques.
DOWN HALL ESTATE, ESSEX
Our final residence is the storied Down Hall Estate, one of England’s grandest country house hotels. The current Italianate building dates from the 19th century, although the estate’s history can be traced back to the 11th century. Our rooms are individually designed and sumptuously appointed.
PULLMAN SYDNEY AIRPORT HOTEL
In close proximity to Sydney Airport, convenience is this hotel’s calling card. Anticipation builds for our historic journey as we meet for our gala Welcome Dinner before enjoying a relaxing evening in our Superior Rooms.
