Easter Island’s landscape stands frozen in time. Its uncanny series of statues, named moai by the indigenous Rapa Nui, continue to watch over the island, as they have done for hundreds of years. With two full days on the island, we contemplate these giant stone ancestors from near and far while staying at Explora Rapa Nui resort.

During our three-night Santiago stay, we admire the Plaza de Armas and the Moneda Presidential Palace. Ascend San Cristóbal Hill by cable car, taking in spectacular panoramas of Santiago and the Andes. And enjoy a day trip to the colourful port city of Valparaíso and the Casablanca Valley wine region.
