Expedition Voyage
PASPALEY PEARL PRIVATE CHARTER
Cruise aboard the privately chartered Paspaley Pearl. Over 13 nights, the sleek expedition yacht delivers us to the remote ports of Indonesia and Timor-Leste, accompanied by a four-person Expedition Team.
SWIM WITH WHALE SHARKS
Within the deep blue waters of Saleh Bay, surrounded by an archipelago of volcanic peaks, graceful whale sharks swim alongside us, making for a most enthralling encounter. Sporting their distinctive pattern of white spots, these gentle giants are the world’s biggest fish.
KEEPING ORANGUTANS SAFE FROM HARM
The Camp Leakey research station in Central Borneo serves as a base for scientists and students, whose work benefits the orangutans of Tanjung Puting National Park. The expert climbers swing majestically from branch to branch, feeding upon a bounty of fruit and leaves. The park is also home to enchanting proboscis monkeys.
A DATE WITH DRAGONS
On Komodo Island, undulating hills, rocky ridges and sandy shores all play host to the formidable Komodo dragon. The national park here stands as a wondrous backdrop as these prehistoric creatures sleep, strut, and stalk their prey.
EXPERT-LED ZODIAC IMMERSIONS
Join our Expedition Team aboard Paspaley Pearl’s onboard Zodiacs, reaching deeper into these remote regions. The nimble watercraft allow us to dock in secluded and hard-to-reach ports, and explore the flora, fauna and geology of coastlines seldom seen.

ITINERARY
Please note, our itinerary here is included merely as a guide. Our voyage will be of an expeditionary nature, where each day’s activities will be determined not only by our Captain and Expedition Team, but on occasion, the vagaries of the weather and sea conditions. Should we chance upon any unexpected encounters with majestic marine life, or find a spot conducive to swimming or snorkelling, we also have the flexibility to drop anchor and linger a while.
